Rohner Park
Noon - Carnival opens in Rohner Park. POP $20 until 6pm,
carnival closes at 10pm. Lots
of fun rides including the Zipper and the Gravitron, and
introducing the brand new Magic Carpet. Carnival Games, food and
fun for all. Nice rides for the little ones.
Western Frontier Shopping Center
5:30pm, Wildwood Saw Parking Lot, Cast Iron Cookoff. Cast iron cooks will be judged on a main dish, bread and dessert all made using camp cookery techniques. The cooks will set up and cook from 4pm, judging at 7pm.
This event is sponsored by Wildwood Saw and Sporting Goods and the
Fortuna Dutch Oven Society. Preregistration is required and is free of charge. Rules and entry forms are at Wildwood Saw, 908 South Fortuna Blvd. Entry deadline is July 8.
